Current Cast Bios

Jesse Ward graduated from the University of Oklahom with a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance. Some of his favorite roles include Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde, Judas in Godspell, Player 2/Jock Allen in Nevermore and Patrick Star in SpongeBob SquarePants: the Musical. He would like to thank Mom, Dad, Kimi and Erin for all their love and support.

Matthew Ortner is excited to be a part of his 16th production with LCT as Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame! He was most recently seen as Bill Sikes in Oliver!, Bob the Farmer in Bat Boy: the Musical. Other favorite roles have been Gabe in Next to Normal, Benny in RENT, and Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. He would like to give his family, friends, and community a big thanks for the continued support, and a big thanks to the Hunchback production team for trusting him with this role.

Jaden Nicole Gallop is excited to be in her third production with LCT. Past credits includeThe Shadow in Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Velma Kelly in Chicago: The Musical (Lawton Community Theatre), for which she was nominated for Best Performer in a Musical for the BroadwayWorld Oklahoma Regional Awards, Morticia Addams in The Addams Family Musical (Duncan Little Theatre), The Madam and Gypsy in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Poteet Theatre), Maria Delgado in 9 to 5: The Musical (Duncan Little Theatre), and Yvette in CLUE: On Stage (Duncan Little Theatre). Jaden played sports growing up, but is so glad to have discovered her love of the performance arts in her early twenties. She is incredibly grateful for all the opportunities and friendships theatre has brought her. Jaden would like to say thank you to all who love and support her on this journey!

Emeri Golden is a performer based in Southwest Oklahoma. She has appeared in various musical productions, with recent roles including Aunt Eller in Next Generation Performing Arts Camp's production of Oklahoma!, Lucy Van Pelt in Discovery Outpost Performing Arts Inc.'s production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Donna Sheridan in Lawton Public Schools' production of Mamma Mia. In addition to these roles, she has been featured in numerous community performances. Emeri is currently attending the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, where she is pursuing degrees in both Music and Psychology. Dedicated to her craft, she plans to continue performing in theatre, choir, dance, and various other performance disciplines.

Byron Phillips has been performing on stage since the age of 6, which makes this his 78th stage production to be involved with. He earned a B.A. in the theatre arts at Cameron University, along with various awards in playwriting and in acting, and is a member and former president of Alpha Psi Omega. He has also taught theatre and tech theatre at MacArthur High School, and he taught at Lawton Ballet Theater.
Byron has acted, directed, and written plays for multiple theaters in Oklahoma, and some in Texas and Kansas. He is currently working on a personal music project, a film project, and will co-author a play for a theatre in Kansas soon.

Alyssa is so excited and grateful to be a part of her 5th Lawton Community Theater production! Past credits with LCT include Mrs. Lovett in "Sweeney Todd", Miss Honey in "Matilda the Musical", and Rosalie Mullins in "School of Rock - the Musical". She has also portrayed Denise in "Smoke on the Mountain", Signe in "Church Basement Ladies", and multiple other characters at the Barn Dinner Theater in Greensboro, NC. She spent the last 6 years before moving to Lawton interpreting 18th century music and theater at Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. A big thank you to the directing team for entrusting her with this role, the cast and crew for a wonderful experience, and most importantly to her husband, Steven, for his constant support and for watching their 1.5 year old baby boy so she can go out and do what she loves!

Kat Frye-Davies is thrilled to be playing Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Her previous stage appearances include Batboy (Mrs. Taylor), Rocky Horror Show (Phantom), and Into the Woods (Cinderella's Stepmother). She also has much experience behind the scenes as well where she recently served as the Music Director for Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Kat has degrees in music therapy and flute performance, and teaches piano lessons to kids and adults. She would like to thank her spouse for the unending support, her parents for fostering her musical self from the very beginning, and this cast for helping bring this show to life!

Will is thrilled to be back performing again with Lawton Community Theatre. After an over 20 year absence from the stage, Will was most recently seen as Billy Flynn in LCT's production of "Chicago" last season, for which he was nominated for Best Performer in a Musical for the BroadwayWorld Oklahoma Regional Awards. Will's previous credits include Bobby Child in "Crazy for You," Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors," John Truett in "Meet Me in St. Louis," Rapunzel's Prince in "Into the Woods," Rolf in "The Sound of Music," and The Artful Dodger in "Oliver!"

Emily Gill is thrilled to perform again with Lawton Community Theatre! Emily began her theatre career in 2008 on the LCT stage and has performed all over Oklahoma and Texas. Loyal to her hometown, he holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health from Cameron University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SWOSU. She loves her day job as a children's therapist at Taliaferro and is pursuing professional counseling licensure. Her favorite roles include Christine Da'ae in The Phantom of the Opera (Poncan Theatre), Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music (Wichita Theatre), and Roxie Hart in Chicago (Lawton Community Theatre) for which she earned a nomination as Best Performer in a Musical for BroadwayWorld Oklahoma Regional Awards.

Carson is excited to be performing in the ensemble for Lawton Community Theatre's production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Carson was last seen in the ensemble of LCT's production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He and his family have lived in Lawton since coming here with the military in 2006. He graduated from Cameron University in 2014 with a BA in English and has been working as a Technical Editor for Raytheon Technologies for the past 11 years. Past LCT stage credits include Wadsworth in Clue!, Mr. Mooneyham in School of Rock, R. P. McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (for which he was nominated for a BroadwayWorld OK Regional Award), the Narrator in Trial by Water, and Lloyd Dallas in Noises Off. Other stage credits include 3 years in the company of the Capitol Dinner Theatre (Harrisburg, PA); ensemble for Duncan Little Theatre's Shrek: The Musical; ensemble in Dr. Greg Hoepfner's Arsenic and Old Lace; voice of Jesus in the Prince of Peace Easter Pageant with the Holy City of the Wichitas; and Joseph Pulitzer in Discovery Outpost's Newsies. Jacob Scribner is excited to be a part of his third production with LCT as King Louis XI. Previously, he played the Bird Seller/Ensemble in Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and as Eddie/Dr. Scott in The Rocky Horror Show. As a native Kansas Citian, his past credits there include the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, Ed Sullivan/Harvey Johnson in Bye Bye Birdie, Gremio in Kiss Me, Kate and performing multiple roles in Michael McQuary's I'm Hollywood. He's also been featured in films such as Adira, Blindsight and Jessie in Reverie.

Niki is delighted to be part of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! She was most recently seen at LCT in Oliver! as Mrs. Sowerberry, for which she also directed. When not on stage, you can find her teaching 8th Grade Science and Theatre Arts at Cache Middle School or directing local children's theatre. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed being part of it!

Rowan Burt is excited to be a part of his second show at Lawton Community Theatre. He was most recently seen on the LCT stage as Captain in Oliver! He was also previously seen as the lead "The claw" in his last school production. Soon starting his freshman year, he thanks his previous directors and teachers in his journey to being a better performer. With a love and passion for theatre, he strives to better his skills and perform well for his family and community.

Randy Corrales is excited to be back on the LCT stage once again. He is born and raised in Lawton, OK. He started his Theatre career at Cameron University as a student and graduated in 2007. He is the owner of Upstage Styles, and hopefully one day will return to perform as his alter ego Harmony Styles DeLovely. Previous LCT credits include Miscast (The Choreographer), Ensemble (Sweeney Todd), Rent (Angel), Clue (Phantom/Unexpected Cop) and Cabaret(Bobby/Sailor).

Shade Linville is a graduated senior from Lawton High attending Cameron University pursuing a degree in Musical Education, and has been doing theatre for 4 years. Her last appearance on the LCT stage was her role as Bet in "Oliver! ". Most recently she could be seen as Sophie Sheridan in "Mamma Mia" with Lawton public schools, Snail in "A Year with Frog and Toad" at Cameron university, and Ado Annie in "Oklahoma!" with Next Generation Performing Arts Camp. She is also making her directing debut at Discovery Outpost with "Finding Nemo Kids". She is thrilled to be working with such wonderful actors and vocalists, and hopes to grow and be like them one day!

Reagan Phillips, singing since she could first talk, grew up as a member of the Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus and the local Homeschool Shakespeare Festival, along with the occasional community theatre performance.

At the age of 12, Phillips went to her first opera, Don Carlo. That performance sparked her love of voice and the art of Opera. Phillips received her associate's degree from the Community College of Rhode Island. Phillips then earned her Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance from Cameron University in 2020.

During and after college, Phillips performed in nine Opera Workshop performances, over 35 musicals, plays, recitals, chorus performances, and was inducted into Alpha Psi Omega, the collegiate theatre honors fraternity. In 2020, Phillips was also asked to compose music for Cameron University's 2020 production of Much Ado About Nothing, in which she performed as Balthazar.

Additionally, Phillips directed music and sound designed for seven musicals and plays, costumed multiple Opera Workshop performances, and, since the fall of 2018, worked backstage in tech for all of Lawton Ballet Theatre's productions.

essa is feeling on top of the world to be a Gargoyle in The Hunchback of Notre Dame! This is her first show back at LCT since 2024 and she's so happy to be meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends. This will be her 14th ever theatre performance in 4 years (or so) and she couldn't ask for a better cast to share this milestone with.

Shalynn is so excited to be in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at LCT! She was last seen on stage in LCT's production of Sweeny Todd, and has been in many shows with LCT including The Lion King, Matilda, and The Lightning Thief. She is a MacArthur high school student, who has lived in Lawton her entire life, And is the president of the MacArthur High School Drama Club. She would like to thank her mom for always supporting her, and her friends in the show for being awesome!

I'm 23 and new to the Lawton Community. I've been doing shows and dance since I was for and have a love for everything theatre!

Hello! My name is Evelyn Collinsworth and I have been doing theatre for about four or five years now. So far this show has been one of the most exciting I've been in, though the story can be sad at times, there's humor to be found in the dark.

Diego is a 15 year old rising sophomore at Elgin high school. He has been performing on stage for 6 years as a pianist, band member, and now an actor. Mr. Espinoza's onstage journey began with a solo on the piano, since then, he has continued with solos to the present. Transitioning to middle school opened the opportunity to join the school band and play the tuba for 5 years now. The fall season also opens the opportunity for marching band season where he is now partaking in his second show as part of The Pride of Elgin Marching Band. The first of which contained the music of Elvis, where the band recieved many first place finishes in their class, and the current show entitled "Its Our Time." Diego's journey in band does not stop there however as he has also joined the school's jazz band as their main pianist for contests. Along with those, he also participates in ossaa Solo and ensemble doing solos in various instruments outside of previous ones. The transition to the theatre came very suddenly last April when he became part of the put orchestra for Shrek the Musical put on by Elgin Public Schools. The hunchback of notre dame is the first show that he is performing in as part of the onstage ensemble. Diego looks forward to partaking in more shows and building bonds with his fellow cast mates as he continues with his journey in the arts.

Lové is very excited to be in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, her second show with LCT! Recent shows include OKLAHOMA! And Percy Jackson, for which she won Best Supporting Performer in a Musical with Oklahoma BroadwayWorld.

Abriela is so excited to be in hunchback of Notre Dame! She has taken a year break but now she's better and ready to perform again! She has been in many productions with LCT! Like Pinkalishous, Matilda, Wizard of oz, jungle book, and even frozen Jr!!!!! She is an Eisenhower middle school student who is also a cheer leader for Eisenhower, she has live in Lawton her whole life! She also does ballet and pointe at Lawton ballet theater! She would like to thank her mom, dad, and Tony and even the rest of her family for supporting her dreams!

Cacelyn Overby is excited to be part of the ensemble in The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Her previous theatre credits include the Toy Soldier in Toy Camp, Pinkalicious in Pinkalicious, Blue Fish in Merry Christmas, Rainbow Fish, Tameka in School of Rock, and the ensemble in Matilda. Cacelyn loves performing and is always excited for another opportunity to take the stage. She is thrilled to be part of this amazing cast and hopes you enjoy the show!

Gwyneth Poudrier has been performing in theatre productions for 5 years. Some of her favorite roles have been Lavender in Matilda the Musical, Young Elsa in Frozen Jr., Mowgli in Jungle Book Kids, Thomas O'Malley in Aristocats, Jr, and Portia (Stepsister) in Cinderella Jr. Oliver will be her 25th production and her 10th production with LCT. She also dances with Lawton Ballet Theatre and sings with Allison Yates Private Studio.

Kailen "Kay" Tahsequah is delighted to take the stage again with Lawton Community Theatre in The Hunchback of Notre Dame! She was most recently seen on the LCT stage as the Rose Seller in Oliver! as well as in Miscast as Ensemble Member 1, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street as a featured soloist. Her past performances include High School Musical On Stage and Back to the 80s at Red Carpet Community Theatre in Elk City, Oklahoma. Whether under the stage lights or behind the barber's chair at Hale Bent in Elgin, Oklahoma, Kay finds joy in creativity, connection, and storytelling, especially when shared with her family. Kay would like to say thanks to all of her friends and family for supporting her in her love of the arts and would like to give a special thanks to Michael Kidd Harden for being her voice coach and encouraging her to do things out of her comfort zone!

Allison is in 10th grade and is excited to be making her theatre debut in The Hunchback of Notre Dame as a member of the Loft Choir!

Destiny Cortes is thrilled to be a part of her second production at Lawton Community Theatre. She made her musical theater debut as a member of Fagin's gang in LCT's production of Oliver! She would like to thank her family and friends for their support as she embarks on this new performing arts adventure.

In middle school I took part in the choir there, then in highschool I was involved in the advanced choir, women's choir, and the regular choir in the voice placements of mezzo soprano, alto, and tenor. During my junior year I took part in my school's production of South Pacific as an ensemble member. I tried out for the Hunchback of Notre Dame because its story is important to never judge a book by its cover and the soundtrack is amazing.

Bekah Fountain was born in Huntsville, AL. Bekah loves to sing and decided to try out for the Hunchback of Notre Dame to try something new and fun! Bekah has been taking lesson from Ms. Allison Yates since June of 2022. She's performed at Art for All, studio Spring and Christmas Recitals, Holiday in the Park, and for the first time this year participated in the Shubert Music Festival where she received Superior Plus for singing Mama Mia from the musical, Mama Mia. This is Bekah's first production (of many to come) with Lawton Community Theatre.

I am Michael Glanzer, a young performer from Cache, for a long time now didn't prefer to perform in public until I found LCT. Now I am often looking around for places to perform as it is what I truly love doing.

Joey has been an active army soldier for 18 years. During his time, he spent 9 years in Lawton, OK. He has been in children's ministry as a volunteer and pastor for 17 years and currently helps at Lawton First Assemblies. Joey has been an advocate for the Lawton arts community by helping at Lawton Ballet Theater with his son Nathan by putting on hunted houses and being the Czar and men's group member in Anastasia in 2016 along with being an active helper during shows for set up and tear down. This is his first musical appearance in the loft choir; however, he has also been in a choir throughout the years. Other experiences consist of 2013 he played The Angel Gabrial in a Passion of the Christ Play in Okinawa Japan; 2015 He played Jack Frost in a pantomime play and was also part of the choir in El Paso Texas. He is now getting ready to retire and participates in the arts where he can and is a DND GM, blacksmith, and carpenter during his free time.

Natalie Jones, a talented young performer from Lawton, was most recently seen in Lawton Community Theatre's production of Winnie the Pooh Kids as Eeyore as well as Oliver! as a member of Fagin's Gang. As the only elementary student ever to be selected from Lawton Academy of Arts and Sciences for the prestigious All-State Oklahoma Choir, she has also competed in the Oklahoma Federation of Music Clubs State Festival and shone in multiple school plays, musicals, and choir performances. She is grateful for the unwavering support of her family, friends, and her vocal coaches Debbie Wood and Allison Yates.

Elena Martin was cast as Violet in Winnie the Pooh Kids and is a member of the Carriage Hills Elementary performance choir. She loves singing and dancing, and apires to be a teacher when she grows up. Thank you to my big sisters for sharing your love of music and encouraging me to be myself.

Jackie Odell is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with a lifelong love of singing. A veteran performer, she is best known for her vocal work with various choirs and has often appeared as a soloist with chamber orchestra and symphony accompaniment in Lawton, Norman, Tulsa, and Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Her previous roles at Lawton Community Playhouse include Widow Corney in Oliver! in 2014. She is grateful for the opportunity to return to LCT and share this production with the Lawton community theater family.

Rick Stahl was blessed to grow up in a musical family ... even extending to the Von Trapps of "Sound of Music" fame. As an actor, singer, dancer, pit musician, musical director, or sound technician, he has participated in over 50 different stage shows and performed on three continents. He started as a youth in Arizona, studying piano and singing in children's choirs. He continued playing and singing as a college Music Major in Massachusetts and, back in Arizona, went on to be a church Worship Leader. Rick played in a series of local classic-rock bands and jazz combos before joining the Army as a Musician/Bandsman (surviving Basic Training at age 42 was quite the experience!) Having medically retired out of Fort Sill in 2024, Rick and his wife, Denise, are getting used to civilian life and home ownership here in Lawton. But he has continued cantoring for Eastern Orthodox Christian services on Fort Sill and singing with the Lawton Community Chorus. He loves meeting interesting people and having genuine conversations. This is his first experience with LCT and, God-willing, not the last.

Amanda "Mads" Underwood is thrilled to be a part of this production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Amanda has a Bachelor of Music Degree from St. Olaf College and is currently working on a Masters in Psychology. Before coming to LCT, Amanda performed in numerous improv troupes at HUGE Theater and The Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis, MN, including Clue: The Improvised Murder Mystery, and Manners and Misconduct: Improvised Jane Austen. Previous credits at LCT include The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Meredith Parker in Batboy! The Musical, "Turn Back, Oh Man" in Godspell, Maureen Johnson in RENT, Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show, and Mrs. Phelps in Matilda.

I am a local high school student that loves everything to do with music and I absolutely love epic the musical, the Percy Jason series and the hunger game series!

Amanda is a Texas native, but when she moved to Lawton in 2017 with her 4 children, Oklahoma quickly stole their hearts. This is Amanda's 3rd theater experience and she's looking forward to many more in the future.

Katie Veenhuizen has her BFA in Dance, with a concentration in modern and a BFA in Theatre, with a Musical Theatre emphasis from Valdosta State University. After completing her degrees she went on to work professionally with many theatres and theme parks around Florida, including performing with Universal Studios. She is the owner and Artistic Director of Lawton Ballet Theatre and produces the Nutcracker every December. She was chosen as the Arts and Humanities winner for Educator in the Arts for 2023. Her other credits choreographing in Lawton include many productions at LCT, Bluemoon and Cameron University. While this is not her first time directing, it is her directorial debut at LCT. She is so grateful for this opportunity and the amazing cast and crew!

Aiden is excited to be apart of the crew behind this wonderful show! This is his first stage production as a stage manager, and his second as a member of tech crew, followed by Lawton Public Schools' production of 'MAMMA MIA' this past April. He is currently a senior at Lawton High School.

Allison Yates has taught private voice and piano lessons in her home studio for the past 38 years. She graduated from Lawton Christian School in 1981. In 1989 she became the K-12 music teacher taught music at LCS for 14 years. She performed in numerous musical productions at Cameron University while attending there. Her first musical at Lawton Community Theatre was Fiddler on the Roof where she played Tzeitel. Since then, she has been in numerous musicals at LCT and has also enjoyed being music director for several shows as well. Allison is widowed from her late husband, Doug Yates, who also performed in several LCT productions and adult benefits along with their daughter, Alyssa Rodriguez. Allison and her son, Skylr, live in the Elgin area.

Shalyn Bowles has been performing and designing for as long as they can remember. Earning a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Theatre Art with Cameron University and receiving multiple honors including being inducted into Alpha Psi Omega during this time, inspired them to pursue their passions in various ways.
They have presented their dramaturgical and design works at KCACTF Region 6, USITT and ATHE. Worked for both Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line, became Assistant Camp Director of Camp Demigod in Washington State and Canada, and has been actively involved in various theatres in the area. They have not only acted and designed but also directed various productions with Lawton Ballet Theatre and Blue Moon productions as well as helped lead backstage tech for Lawton Ballet Theatres productions.

This is Ataria! She is a graduate of Lawton High School, and this is her second musical as a member of stage crew after participating in Lawton Public Schools' production of 'MAMMA MIA.' She is currently enrolled in Full Sail's Media Communications Online Program!

Peter Parnell most recently wrote the new book for the Broadway revival of Lerner and Lane's On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, starring Harry Connick Jr. and Jessie Mueller. His plays include Trumpery (Atlantic Theatre Company), QED starring Alan Alda (Mark Taper Forum, Vivian Beaumont, LCT), a two-part stage adaptation of John Irving's The Cider House Rules (Seattle Rep, Taper, Atlantic, American Theatre Critics Association Award). His other plays, Sorrows of Stephen, The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket, Romance Language, Hyde in Hollywood, Flaubert's Latest, and An Imaginary Life, were first produced by the Public Theater and at Playwrights Horizons. For television, Parnell was a co-producer for "The West Wing" (two EMMY Award citations), and a producer for "The Guardian," "Inconceivable," and "Six Degrees."
